solar rechargeable \"light bulb\". ideal for camping. (made from recyclable materials)
With all your electronics in the home, it\'s hard to find a outlet away from the light at night, so here I\'ll show you how I can make solar rechargeable bulbs using LEDs and normal materials.
Its environmental protection and fun!
Let\'s start now :)Things needed;
9 White LEDs, 1 standard diode, 1 solar panel (i used two)1 dpdt switch (
I used two spdt side by side)
Rechargeable battery. (I used a 4.
7 nickel-based batteries)
1 Ten ohm resistor (
May not be needed in your case)
Other things needed;
Tin foil cardboard 2 liter pop bottle white painted soldering iron hot glue hanger some fishing lines first cut off the top of a 2L pop bottle and then cut a small cardboard ring bottle top that fits inside.
The cardboard ring will be the shift circuit board we made.
It can accommodate all electronic components.
This circuit is very simple, let\'s take a look at the schematic before we start assembling components on our make shift board.
The most important part of the circuit is the DPDT switch.
In one location it allows you to charge the battery (solar)
In another position, it turns on the LEDs.
The DPDT switch also acts as an off switch.
We are going to do the circuit board.
First mark where the LEDs are going, one in the middle and the rest evenly distributed at the edges.
The led in the middle will be the led with the input power, before this is the 10 ohm resistor.
Just draw the symbol of the assembly on the cardboard and poke the hole there.
And insert components.
After inserting all the components, you can start to connect all the positive and negative lines together. then solder.
After everything is connected, you can weld a long line on the resistor (positive)
Then weld a long wire at one of the negative connections (ground)
The resistance should be welded to the intermediate LED.
Start connecting all the LEDs in parrallel from the Middle LED. (L1).
After the circuit is completed, cover the exposed cardboard with tin paper.
Tin foil helps to reflect the light and make it brighter.
This step is easy for you to put solar panels (s)
Go to the top of the bottle top and run the wires through the bottle mouth.
I used two solar panels at parrallel to increase the amp.
Before connecting the diode to the switch, make sure to add it to the solar panel output.
Before you add any cricket you can spray the bottle into white, I chose to paint it like a light bulb.
This step can be difficult if you are new to the dpdt switch.
Weld the battery wire to the two middle leg of the switch, then weld the solar panel wire to the two legs next to the battery, and then weld the led wire to the other two legs.
One party should be positive and the other should be negative.
I can\'t explain this, so if you have trouble with my information or comments.
After everything is connected to the switch, open a small hole in the bottle to install the switch and install the switch with hot glue.
I also added a usb connection.
I won\'t charge it with the usb power on the socket, but from the solar usb charger I made a while ago, the solar panels on my usb charger charge the lithium ion battery, then I can use this charge to charge anything at any time of the day.
After everything is connected and installed, it\'s time to stick the card boaard in the pop bottle.
I glued the battery heat to the cardboard, then pushed the cardboard to the bottle and stuck it to the edge.
Remove the hanger, cut it off from the Hook section, and then tie some fishing lines around the hanger and bottle.
So you can hang the lights.
You\'re done now, and there\'s light in your tent every night!
Put it in the sun every morning, switch the switch to the charging position and let it Charge!
